I know George W Bush says a lot of stupid stuff, but does he have any good quotes that actually have depth?
DanielL asked:
I’m not a fan of his attempt to run this country, but there has to be some good and insightful stuff he or his writers must’ve had that I can write down in my book of good quotes.
Thanks ahead of time.

His speech immediately following 9/11 was actually QUITE inspirational. He even had ME on his side at that point.
Then he invaded Iraq and tried to get us to believe it was part of some global effort to rid the world of the evil of terrorism, and he lost me again.
Anyway - the speech is probably linked on the White House website; all the President’s speeches are available there.

This quote is insightful, as it tells the complete story of what the President is all about:
‘This is an impressive crowd — the haves and the have-mores. Some people call you the elite. I call you my base.’
George W Bush

Yes, he recently said that increased drilling and the construction of more refineries would help bring down gas prices. Notwithstanding his relationship with the bin-Ladens of this world, this might be true someday way in the future. The depth of this statement is in the drilling.
